“Where do I download it?”

Frank’s first question. What our other beta testers said:

JonathanBeta tester
“Lissa has made a real difference to my focus time. The soundscapes are lovely and help me settle in quickly, and it’s easy to add my own music too. Blocking distracting apps keeps me on task, and the break reminders stop me from burning out during long sessions. Highly recommend it.”
WilliamBeta tester
“Great job producing this awesome tool, it’s going to help a lot of people.”
PhillipBeta tester
“The idea of ‘building a soundscape’ to put you in a certain mood is incredible.”
JamesBeta tester
“I loved that I can modulate, change the frequencies (this is magical), shapes, etc.”

Set up in seconds. The session holds your attention.

Start carries you from the first note to the final bell, so you can get lost in the work, the walk, or the night.

  1. Arrange

    Say what’s next.

Focus, sleep, a walk, a nap. Arrange builds a soundscape for now, with timing, breaks, a gentle alarm. Your daily toolkit.

Lissa's Arrange screen after the request I’m going on a 20-minute walk: the request bubble, the answer naming its sounds, the Move session card counting down with its controls, and a Suggestions row beneath.
A 20-minute stroll, asked for in a sentence.
  2. The mixer

    Make your mix.

More rain, less music, a beat underneath. Adjust until the sound feels right, or bring in your playlist and the beats tune to match.

Lissa's mixer drawer open over Stillwater: rows for Music, Beats, Noise and Sounds with faders, Rain and Stream added under Sounds and a Theta beat under Beats.
More rain, a beat underneath, and a fader for every layer.
  3. Lock Screen

Lock your device and let go.

Pause, take a break, or end. From your Lock Screen. A gentle bell or alarm brings you back.

An iPhone Lock Screen during a Lissa Focus session on Undercurrent: the Now Playing card above the session card with its countdown ring, the bell's time, End and Take Break.
Pause, take a break, or end, without unlocking.

How do binaural beats work? What’s the best music for focusing? How can I fall asleep faster? Read the studies, not the slogans.

Engaging articles on the science behind binaural beats, colored noise, breathing, and more. Learn the why.

Straight answers.

Is Lissa free?
7 days free. Work a full block, sleep a full night, wake to the alarm, then decide. Cancel anytime.
Do I need headphones?
Use headphones for the best experience. For binaural beats they’re necessary: your brain only builds the beat when a slightly different tone plays in each ear. Without them, Lissa falls back to monaural beats, and you can switch to isochronic; neither needs headphones. Music, colored noise, Solfeggio tones and the Sounds library play from any speaker.
What does Adaptive mean?
That the sound answers to you. Tempo and energy move with each phase of the session, the beat travels through its band and retunes to the key of your song, and the noise and sounds rise and settle around them. Every layer can follow along, or hold exactly where you put it.
Can a Sleep soundscape play all night?
Yes, straight through to morning. Nothing ends or repeats, so it holds for as long as you want it, or eases off once you’re asleep. The alarm rings either way, even on silent.
Is it on Android or Apple Watch?
iOS today. More platforms are coming.
What about my Health data?
Your Health readings are managed by Apple Health and stay on your device. Lissa reads them only with your permission.
